This song is not a rant about music industry. Instead, it is about my father: he thinks that famous songs are “true music”, whereas if people do not know about your stuff you are doing it wrong. Here the real question is: what is music? As most of the arts, the beautiful side of music is that you cannot state what should or should not be considered ‘music’. So famous songs relate to the most shared feelings, but unknown songs may relate to less widespread - but not less important - emotions.
